We're Izzy and Mel, co-founders of Smoomy.

Our journey started when Izzy, a woman in her thirties started noticing a new wrinkle on her face every few months. Like so many of you, she was dedicated to maintaining a healthy skincare routine. She kept up with serums, sun screen, and treatments -anything that promised to keep her skin youthful and vibrant. But despite her best efforts, she kept waking up with dull skin and puffy eyes and she couldn’t help but wonder: What was she missing?

It wasn’t until they saw Mel's mum one day that everything clicked. One side of her face had noticeably more wrinkles than the other. When they asked her about it, she revealed that she always slept on one side due to her vertigo. That’s when they first faced the reality of sleep wrinkles -the deep lines and creases that form while we sleep, often from pressing our face against the pillow night after night.

This realization sparked a mission. They set out to find a solution that would protect the skin, prevent unwanted wrinkles, and improve sleep quality all at once. That’s how Smoomy was born.
